Grooming

Grooming is one of the most important aspects when attending an interview. Your first impression to your potential new employer is EVERYTHING and sometimes can be the difference between your interview going well or going south. Below is just a few tips on what to do for your interview:

 

MEN: 
  • Ensure that your attire is Clean and well Ironed.
  • Dress in Neutral Colours, Preferably wear Black, Grey or White.
  • Males should keep jewellery to a minimum, no facial piercings.
  • Aftershaves & Colognes should be as subtle as possible.
  • Should be clean shaven or have a neatly trimmed beard.
  • Shoes should be cleaned and polished, Preferably black with Black socks.
  • Tattoos must not be visible.

 

WOMEN:

  • Ensure that your attire is Clean and well Ironed.
  • Dress in Neutral Colours, Preferably wear Black, Navy or White.
  • Females keep jewellery, preferably a watch, 1 set of earrings (Studs or small sleepers) no facial piercings
  • Perfume should be as subtle as possible.
  • Shoes should be cleaned and polished, preferably black with nude stockings/pantyhose.
  • Ensure your hair is neatly tied back using natural or hair ties that match your hair colour.
  • Hair should be naturally coloured with subtle colour matches, no bright colours. (e.g Blonde, Brown, Red, Black)
  • Makeup should be applied conservatively with only natural colours
  • Nails should be neatly trimmed, manicured and with clear nail polish
  • Tattoos must not be visible.
